The New York Working Families Party (WFP) is a political party built by and for working people. We are a multiracial, grassroots movement of union members, parents, tenants, people of faith, and everyday New Yorkers who believe in one simple idea: government should work for the people, not the wealthy and well-connected.

WHO WE ARE
The New York Working Families Party is a coalition of community organizations, labor unions and individual members, comprising over 257,000 New Yorkers. For more than two decades, the Working Families coalition has led the fight to elect champions like Tish James, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Zohran Mamdani, and Jumaane Williams — and to win landmark victories like paid sick days, raising the minimum wage, and strong tenant protections.
